Burnet County ESD No. 6

Burnet County Emergency Services District No. 6 (BCESD No. 6) is the governmental entity created by the voters for the purpose of providing fire suppression and first response emergency medical services for approximately 123 square miles – a circular radius around the city of Marble Falls and its ETJ. BCESD No. 6 contracts with Marble Falls Area Volunteer Fire Department to provide these services.

What is an Emergency Services District?
An Emergency Services District (ESD) is a political subdivision of the state of Texas. BCESD No. 6 was created by the voters residing within the specified areas on November 22, 2011. BCESD No. 6 is managed by five commissioners appointed by the Burnet County Commissioners for two year terms.
